At ALCOstores.com, your satisfaction is very important to us. We know it's sometimes necessary to return or exchange an item.
We want to make it easy for you.

Most items can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full or partial refund. Any item classified as an “electronic” (such as computers, cameras, TVs, media players, etc.) must be returned within 15 days of delivery to be eligible for a refund; see the table below for specific requirements related to the return of electronics purchases. *Please note that Panasonic brand electronics are not eligible for return.*

Please note that all returns must include the item’s original packaging, along with any accompanying accessories, cables, remotes, or manuals to be eligible for return. The original packing slip must also be enclosed with the return shipment.

If there is an error on our part related to your order, the cost of any return shipping will be credited to your ALCOstores.com account. Otherwise, the customer is responsible for all return shipping expense. For some items, a restocking fee may also be deducted from your refund. You will be notified of any such fee prior to your return. If you instruct the shipping carrier to "refuse shipment" after placing the order and there is not an error on our part related to your order, then you are responsible for all shipping charges (including shipping charges back to the shipment's origin), plus any applicable restocking fees.

To initiate your return, please call the ALCOstores.com Customer Service Center at 1-800-976-0542, Monday through Friday between 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time, or  Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Have your Order # available when you call. An ALCOstores.com Customer Service Agent will assist you in processing your return. All returns are processed through our call center, and require the assistance of a Customer Service Agent.  

 

Are there items that cannot be returned?

We are unable to accept returns for the following:

  • Items not accompanied by the original packing slip
  • Items that are not returned in their original packaging
  • Any item deemed to have been abused or damaged after delivery,  or that has malfunctioned due to customer neglect
  • Returns that do not include all the items/accessories that arrived with the product in its original shipment, i.e. manuals, remotes, cables and/or any other accessory notated on the invoice or on manufacturer’s box
  • Pre-paid cards or gift cards
  • Consumable items like food, drinks, health and beauty supplies, vitamins, batteries, ink cartridges, and toner
  • Items that have been personalized
  • Items that use flammable liquids or gas
  • Any product with a missing or altered serial number or UPC
  • CD's, DVD's, tapes, videos, software, and video games cannot be returned for a refund if the shrink wrap or packaging has been opened or removed. Defective titles may be exchanged for the same title only.

What if I receive an item that is damaged upon arrival?

Items received damaged upon arrival should be refused upon delivery and returned to sender (refer to ALCOstores.com Shipping Policy  for detailed instructions regarding this process).  If you are unable to inspect the item upon delivery, please contact the ALCOstores.com Customer Service Center at 1-800-976-0542 within 14 days of delivery to report damage. Damage reported after 14 days will not be deemed the responsibility of ALCOstores.com.  If you feel that the item was damaged in shipment by poor packaging please let the ALCOstores.com Customer Service Agent know so we can take measures to prevent future damages.

 

What if I receive the wrong item in the mail?

While we make every effort to ensure that all items sent to you are exactly what you ordered, if any item in your order is not correct please contact us toll-free at  1-800-976-0542 to speak with an ALCOstores.com Customer Service Agent.

 

What if I received a gift purchased from ALCOstores.com and I would like to return it?

All gift returns are kept confidential.

If you are a recipient of a gift that does not fit your needs, you may return the item following the return polices outlined above. We will process your return upon the arrival of your item(s), and once the return is approved you will receive the value of your return as an ALCOstores.com merchandise credit.

Quick Tips:

  • If you feel that there are accessories missing: be sure to carefully remove and inspect every piece of cardboard and Styrofoam in the box, as packaging can sometimes be very creative.
  • If you are missing screws, bolts, nuts, washers or like items: most manufacturers can get you those items much faster than it would take to request a new item. Look for the manufacturer‘s direct 800# in the product manual that accompanies your shipment, for the promptest assistance and service.
  • If you have technical questions, please refer to the owner’s manual enclosed with your product. These usually provide the best resource for FAQ’s, Customer Service and/or Tech Support related to your purchase.

 

Can I exchange an item purchased from ALCOstores.com?

For the fastest service, simply place a new order online. We'll ship your new item right away. You will be charged for a second purchase, but once your return has been received and processed, you will receive a refund for the cost of the original item, applied to your original method of payment.

 

Things to Remember About Your ALCOstores.com Return:

All returns and exchanges must be initiated within 30 days of delivery (with some exceptions; please refer to your enclosed packing slip for specific product return information). Returns initiated past the specified number of days will not be accepted.

Returns must be new, unused and complete with accessories, instructions, and original packaging. If these are missing your return can be denied.

In most cases, your refund will be applied to your original method of payment. Credit card purchases can be refunded only to the original card. Coupons and special promotions used in making the original purchase will not be reinstated.

We reserve the right, at our discretion, to limit or refuse some items for return or exchange.

 

ALCO Store Location Return Policy:

 

At ALCO Stores, your satisfaction is very important to us. We know it's sometimes necessary to return or exchange an item. We want to make it easy for you. 

All returns and exchanges must be made within 90 days of purchase, and must be accompanied by a sales receipt. Returns past 90 days are not accepted.

Returns without a sales receipt may be approved at the Store Manager’s discretion, when accompanied by a valid customer ID. Such returns are eligible for merchandise credit only; no cash refund will be issued.

Electronics items (including but not limited to TVs, cameras, audio systems, computers, tablets, MP3 players, DVD/Blu-ray players, and portable internet devices) must be returned within 30 days of purchase. Such items must be returned new, unused, and complete with all parts, accessories, instructions, and original packaging. After 30 days, the manufacturer’s warranty applies.

CD's, DVD's, tapes, videos, software, and games cannot be returned for refund if opened. Defective titles may be exchanged for the same title only. Printer ink, toner, or recording media cannot be returned if opened.

Returns with missing parts, packing material or accessories will incur a 15% restocking fee.

Repairs for defective items covered by the manufacturer's warranty become the responsibility of the manufacturer. For Manufacturer Repair/Warranty information, call 1-800-334-2526.

Seasonal, holiday and clearance items with receipt will be refunded at the receipt price.

Credit card purchases can be refunded only to the original card.

Refunds for purchases by check may require bank validation.

We reserve the right, at our discretion, to limit or refuse some items for return or exchange.
