Expectations

  • Manage an organized, clean and well-structured environment for your customers and associates
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train and coach a store team of 15-25 members
  • Optimize your profit and loss statement to reach your bonus potential
  • Maintain the company standards and productivity of every aspect of your store
  • Delegate and perform merchandising, operational and human resources functions
  • Perform leadership responsibilities including responding to customer and associate concerns, as well as securing the store

ALCO Manager in Training Program:

This accelerated training program is designed for individuals who join the company with an extensive retail management background. Individuals who have at least 3 years experience in retail store management will be considered for the fast track program. The training program combines ALCO Learning Center online courses, hands-on training at the store level and a training seminar located at the corporate office in Abilene, Kansas, all providing a very unique and personal experience.

Upon successful completion of the ALCO Manager in Training Program, you will be promoted to the position of store manager.
